Victoria’s Spa Magnolia Introduces Australian Beauty Brand ‘Endota’ to Canada

The effortlessness of Australian beauty, sunless tan, and skincare products seem to be on everyone’s wish list these days, but with the land down under as our geographical opposite, nabbing these coveted cosmetics for yourself can seem like a difficult undertaking. Women Founded & Led

endota is the largest day spa network in Australia with over 100 spas across the country. 100% founded by women with an over 95% female team, the endota Spa story began in 2000 when Melanie Gleeson pursued her dream to give back and inspire others to connect with themselves. She believed in the power of nature to heal and embodied this philosophy across her spas, products, and organic treatments. She named her brand endota, an indigenous word meaning beautiful.

Consumers are flocking to Australian cosmetics online and in stores because of their emphasis on health, sustainability, and a low-fuss approach to skincare and beauty, but if you live in Canada, you can find these skin care products at The Spa Magnolia in downtown Victoria, BC.

The spa’s owner, Paula Veenema, is the exclusive distributor for Canada. We caught up with her for the scoop on the celebrated spa line and the incredible principles that make up the brand’s organic line.

Clean, Cruelty-Free Formulas

All endota Organics formulas are vegan and cruelty-free. They contain a powerful indigenous Australian plant complex containing Australian lemon aspen, Davidson plum, and lily pilly which provides nourishing, antioxidizing, and rejuvenating benefits to the skin. The formulas have undergone clinical testing and are Certified Organic by the internationally recognized Cosmos standard, which sets certification requirements for organic and natural cosmetics products.

Sustainable Packaging

The brand adheres to the highest standards not only on clean formulations but also on clean packaging. They continue to evolve their supply chain so it is environmentally responsible. Where possible, they develop products that are made from recycled materials and renewable resources and that can be recycled post-use. All products are made in Australia using renewable energy to reduce their carbon footprint and support Australian companies. To take environmental considerations one step further, all orders are transported using recyclable fillers and shippers.

Recyclable Containers

These skincare products are contained in airless vessels made up of 70% recycled PP (Polypropylene) from single-use plastics that would otherwise go to landfills. Not only are the containers made of recycled materials, but they are also all recyclable post-use. The airless pump technology protects the formula by preventing excessive exposure to air, increasing the product’s shelf life.

Giving Back

endota aims to live consciously and give back wherever possible. They currently collaborate with an inspiring group of indigenous women located in Fitzroy Crossing in Western Australia, whose artwork appears on some of their packagings.
